Qualitative chemical analysis is conducted to identify what all chemical substances are present in a sample. For example, pregnancy can be confirmed by detecting the hormones in the woman’s urine.
Therefore, qualitative analysis helps to obtain the constituent in a sample whereas qualitative analysis detects the constituent present in a sample.
